Emptiness is the opposite of what I seek – I desire fantasy, plurality, diversity, novelty, the unexpected.
My painting, therefore, isn’t truly figurative but us tells the story of who I am, what I see and experience. I affirm my personality by alternating between release (which provides foundational surprises) and a reigning in that restructures the whole and forges a path forward.
