The most important part of the journey is the journey….

The idea of transition can be confusing, it applies to space as well as time …If to transition means to pass from one place to another, then the journey would be the transition; but it is just as applicable in time, to change, transform oneself, pass from one state to another, to be the same and to no longer be.
And then everything changes … that means that as soon as you consider this idea of transition in space, it is the terms that matter more than what connects them.
A transition, at bottom, is somehow like a threshold, something stuck in-between, which is yet not likely to alter either of the spaces which it connects.
Thus, to us, this transition appears to be inessential, that’s why we would like to be able to teleport ourselves from one place to another, because in our minds it is not fundamentally the transition itself that counts but the destination.
However, if we look at things like that, we could leave one place for another, while remaining always, mentally in the same place !
As we journey over time, it is always at home that we find ourselves because what we forget is that the essential part of the journey is the journey… The moment when we change ourselves, we become another…
